Edward Awebwa, who resides in Nama, Mukono district was arrested the previous week, and made stand before the court where he admitted to all the charges read to him.
He was then sentenced by Mukono Grade One Magistrate Stella-Maris Amabirisi, on his own guilty plea.
Edward was accused of making a TikTok video with content intended to abuse the head of executive, the wife, and the first son, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba. And did this by including vulgar words while commenting on the names mentioned.
The Sentence Is Fair.
The Magistrate claimed she didn’t subject Edward to maximum punishment on account of his young age and the fact that did not waste the court’s time by taking the case to trial.
